Herman strikes again: a new feedback about another audio tool able to record @ 384 kHz: it's Wavelab 7 by Steinberg (http://www.steinberg.net/en/products/wavelab.html). The full-feature version is 384kHz-capable.

Does Wavelab recognize and use the Joplin/HiFace driver?
RispondiEliminaHello Andy and please apologize for answering so late! The answer is yes for recording, as Wavelab is ASIO compatible (ASIO allows for 384kHz transfer for sure). For playback, Wavelab capability for using Kernel Streaming should be investigated when using Young and Vaughan (as they are 384kHz-capable but do not support ASIO). hiFace Two would support ASIO, but it doesn't support 384kHz as S/PDIF is limited to 192kHz in single-wire mode.
RispondiEliminaThank you so much for your response! :D I will try Wavelab with the Joplin to see if it will work.
